What does life as a woman or girl look like in your country / city / town / village? Any issues / challenges / exciting milestones?

In our community, we are seen humans who are meant to be locked up in the house, as humans whose voices are not meant to be heard, like we don't have a say. But if things continue this way it'll lead to the downfall of our society. Women have unique ideas they can bring to the table. It's time we're given the chance to speak, prove ourselves and make a positive impact in the world.

What would you like the world to know about YOU? What life experience, challenge or achievement do you want to share?

I’m a Nigerian, Computer programmer, Web designer, life coach, writer, blogger, Humanitarian advocate, Entrepreneur, Agribusiness-woman, Public speaker,  Radio Host, and the list goes on.

I'm a technology advocate working within my community to drive and engage more women into the field. I am the founder of Youth Assistance for the Needy Initiative, a non-profitable, non-governmental organisation founded in 2015. The main aim to protect and build the capacity of the needy to withstand societal pressure and be self dependent, through various channels.

I’ve been an Islamic teacher for almost 5 years now, working as a part-time school teacher. I've also worked with quite a number of radio stations here in Kano, Nigeria, and have been on radio for years. Currently, I'm undergoing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
I am a self-development, productivity, religious and fitness blogger with an enthusiastic mindset. I try to guide others to be productive and improve themselves in life by writing/blogging, which I believe will help them embark on an inspiring, motivating, and productive life with an enthusiastic mindset.

What are you most passionate about and what are you doing with that passion?

I’m an average Niqabi who found passion in helping others realize their potential and make healthier choices, investing in them, helping them grow to give out to the world without losing themselves.

If you are an entrepreneur, tell us all about your business and how you got started.

I'm into hatching day old chicks. I sell accessories like watches & jewelries. I do journal production and sales. I have a web-development business where people pay to  me to create and design their sites, I do digital marketing, but basically I'm into different things.

How have the women and girls around you helped you to get to where you are today?

Looking up to great women in my community without even getting to know them personally has given me that driving force to make effort to continue moving and never give up.

Describe yourself in one word: "I am...

Enthusiastic.

Complete this sentence: "To be a girl or woman today, is to be..."

a person with focus, with a purpose, a mission, a vision and a goal to make an impact and contribute positively to your community.
